The School of Arts & Sciences of The College of New Rochelle invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach one undergraduate course for Spring 2012, SOC 100: Introductory Sociology, (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:50 to 6:05 p.m.). The class begins January 24, 2012. A syllabus is available and books have been ordered.
Candidates should have a minimum of a master's degree in sociology and experience in teaching students with diverse learning styles. The School of Arts & Sciences is one of four schools of the College and serves a population of undergraduate women. The College is located on a beautiful suburban campus 16 miles north of midtown Manhattan and is easily accessible by car or public transportation. A Catholic college in the Ursuline tradition, we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who can contribute to our unique educational mission.
