Admissions Representative

The Office of Admissions of The College of New Rochelle invites applications for an Admissions  Representative to recruit students for our traditional undergraduate programs in our School of Arts & Sciences and our School of Nursing, and this full-time, professional staff position is available immediately. If you are highly motivated, thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent customer-service skills, would enjoy working with young adults and their families to navigate the admission and enrollment process, and have excellent computer and technology skills, then we want you to join our team.

The Admissions Representative is a key member of the admissions team and will work with them to achieve the enrollment goals for each school. To that end, s/he will build positive educational partnerships and working relationships with high school counselors and other agencies; reach out to prospective students to assist them to effectively navigate the admissions and enrollment processes and ensure that they meet critical deadlines; and counsel prospective students and their family members about admissions criteria and other critical factors in the educational decision process. The Admissions Representative will follow through on communications and correspondence and assist the team with open house sessions, orientations, and programs at high schools and the community at large.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred), be highly motivated and an effective, empathetic and engaging communicator. S/he will have a track record of meeting/exceeding goals and deadlines, sound judgment, and be highly organized. Strong proficiency with MS Office, Excel and social media is preferred. This position will require travel and non-traditional work hours, including evenings and some weekends.

The College of New Rochelle was founded in 1904 as the first Catholic college for women in New York State. Today the College is comprised of four schools and serves a diverse student population of 4,000 women and men. The School of Arts and Sciences remains for women, only.
