Assistant Director of Information Systems
The College invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Information Systems, and this full-time, professional staff level position is available immediately. 

The Assistant Director will provide leadership and guidance in the planning, development, implementation and assessment of technology services across the institution.  To that end, the Assistant Director will play a critical role in the development and implementation of the College Technology Plan, work actively to facilitate communication and collaboration between the Technology team and vendor affiliates to build and promote a strong and consistent commitment to customer service, participate in on-going projects to enhance the functionality of systems, and consult with end-users in all departments to analyze their needs and develop solutions.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (at a minimum) and at least 4 years experience in a ‘hands on’ IT technical support role consisting of MS Windows, MS Office and other standard desktop applications; at least two years’ experience with a Help Desk ticket system for tracking requests;  strong analytical abilities, a demonstrated customer-service orientation, and be results-oriented.  S/he must be able to work independently and function well as part of a team, and experience with higher education applications (e.g., Student Information Systems) is preferred.
