The ideal candidate will be qualified and capable of assessing the physical, developmental, and psychosocial status of individuals using such processes of data collection as:  history taking, physical examination, initiations and interpretations of screening and laboratory tests, and initiation of other diagnostic tests as determined by mutual agreement with the health services physician(s).  She/he will assess the level of wellness of patients, and diagnose and treat real or potential health problems.  The ideal candidate will coordinate administrative responsibilities with the Health Services staff; oversee all laboratory services; direct activities encompassing the maintenance and updating of departmental health records and manuals (i.e., databases, clearances, audits, policy and procedure, etc.); supervise and implement the practice guidelines set forth by the CDC, OSHA, CLIA, VFC, and NYSIS; and ensure institutional compliance with governmental regulations.
