Honorary Degrees Conferred at CNR Academic Convocation

The College of New Rochelle Academic Convocation, held on October 12, 2012, conferred honorary degrees upon Theodore Cardinal McCarrick and Elza Dinwiddie-Boyd, and awarded the Sister Dorothy Ann Kelly Woman of Conscience Award to Mother Cecelia Wang.

Starbucks Opens New Location at The College of New Rochelle

A new Starbucks location opened at The College of New Rochelle on September 28, 2012, and was celebrated with a ribbon cutting. Before the opening of this Starbucks location, New Rochelle residents had to travel to Wykagyl or towards nearby Larchmont.

Blue Angels Lead Division III Volleyball in Service Aces Per Set

The Blue Angels are averaging 3.61 service aces per set, .07 ahead of second place Merchant Marine Academy, having converted 224 aces in 62 sets this season. A total of 420 Division III schools are eligible for the national rankings.
