The College places great emphasis on network security and has in place numerous measures to protect the network and its users. Each network user is required to have a valid network account to access network resources. In addition, inbound and outbound traffic on the network is constantly monitored and any suspicious activity will be treated very seriously. Computer equipment and peripheral devices are in place to facilitate the educational experience of the students, staff and faculty. Unauthorized removal of these systems is forbidden and violators will be punished accordingly. Network users should be mindful of downloads or installation of programs/software that could put your computer and the network at risk. Any suspicious activity or questions about network security should be reported to the Director of Information System or the Help Desk at (914) 654-5012.
