The School of Nursing seeks an experienced academic administrator for the position of Assistant Dean. This professional staff position is available July 1, 2009. Reporting to the Dean, the responsibilities for the position include: supervision of adjunct faculty; class scheduling; serving as liaison to clinical agencies; management of assessment and evaluation programs; participation in accreditation processes and management of student issues. The successful candidate must have a Master’s degree in nursing or related field, proven record of success in academic administration, be knowledgeable about state and accreditation requirements, and have strong interpersonal communication skills.
