Visiting Faculty- Special Education
The College of New Rochelle’s Graduate School invites applications for a visiting full-time faculty member to teach in our early childhood and childhood special education programs beginning in the Fall 2012 semester.  Qualified individuals should have a minimum of a doctoral degree in the field or ABD with relevant research and presentations.  A minimum of three years experience as a PreK-6 classroom teacher is preferred.  Individuals with knowledge and expertise in mild to moderate disabilities including, learning disabilities, emotional disorders and behavior disorders, assessment, classroom management, research, and supervision of student fieldwork are encouraged to apply.  Responsibilities will include: teaching three graduate courses each semester, advising and mentoring students, developing relationships with area schools, and participating in school and college wide committees and service activities.

The College of New Rochelle and the Graduate School
