The Center for Academic Excellence provides academic support to students at all levels of the College.  Tutoring is available in writing, mathematics, science, and other subject areas.
 
Students may also elect to undertake self-tutorial programs, working on their own with computers as a medium for word processing.

Full-time senior staff, professional and peer tutors and tutors for students with special needs are available.  These tutors are trained to help students succeed in their areas of study and are available to work with students in small groups and on an individual basis.

Students may be referred by individual faculty members, call for an appointment or drop by to make an appointment.

The following services are offered:

• Free and personalized assistance in most subjects 
• Writing consultants 
• Math consultants 
• Assistance in most content areas  
• Computer training
• Fully equipped computer room with Internet access, laser 
  printer,  MLA and APA software, and more  

The staff also offers workshops on various topics, including grammar and mathematics skills development.
