The RN-BSN Program is designed for the working Registered Nurses' schedule, on a very flexible course load. The program provides diverse opportunities for strengthening professional practice and serves as the foundation for advanced practice study, including Master's level work or specialty certification. Thirty credits must be taken at CNR as the residency requirement.
The School of Nursing accepts Registered Nurses in the State of New York with the following criteria:
- A copy of a valid, signed New York State professional registered nurse license
- Complete the RN-BSN application online
- Submission of a 300 to 500 word essay describing the intention in pursuing a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
To transfer nursing and other college credits into CNR, the Registered Nurse must submit official transcripts to the Admissions Office from the schools attended.
