Adrienne Wald enters her fourth year as the head coach of the Blue Angels Cross Country Team. Coach Wald has a long and successful career as a competitive distance runner. She has competed in many major events (three NY Marathons, LA Marathon, Chicago Marathon, and Philadelphia Marathon) and is a four-time Boston Marathoner. She also competes locally, regularly placing in her age group, at the 5k, 10k and ½ marathon distances. She continues to assist and coach with Mike Barnow, Coach of the Westchester Track Club and is currently the Race Director for the 2006 Westchester Marathon, Half Marathon, and Quarter Marathon events.

Coach Wald received her:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Boston University
• Masters of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Adelphi University  
• Working towards her Doctorate in Nursing Education at Teachers College, Columbia University

She is Director of Wellness Education & Programs at The College of New Rochelle.
