EDUCATING
THE WHOLE STUDENT
|
|
“Our students share
what they have learned with their
families and communities. It’s a ripple effect like a pebble tossed
into a
pond.”
— Joan
Bailey, Senior Vice
President for Academic Affairs

Our goals for The
Campaign for The College of New Rochelle
reflect CNR’s philosophy that the liberal arts ideal, dating back to
Plato,
involves educating not only the mind but also the body and the spirit.
By the end
of the Campaign, the College will have raised $70
million to strengthen these three key areas. The renovated Mother Irene
Gill
Library dramatically improves academic life at CNR, and we have
expanded access
to technology for faculty and students on all campuses. The newly
refurbished
Holy Family Chapel provides our students a beautiful spiritual center,
while
the construction of a new Wellness
Center
allows us
to turn our
attention to physical well-being.
Through
attention to the triad of mind, body and spirit,
students attain their fullest potential and actively live our mission
of Wisdom
for Life. Because our students are vital participants in their
communities and
their families, they carry this commitment out into the world.
