THE COLLEGE OF NEW ROCHELLE OFFERS
CHILD ABUSE RECOGNITION & REPORTING SEMINAR

NEW ROCHELLE, NY, March 13, 2008-- The College of New Rochelle (CNR) will once again offer the Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Seminar on its Main Campus in New Rochelle. The seminar, conducted by Gloria Benhuri, M.S., RN, will be offered on Wednesday, April 9, 2008, from 1 – 3 p.m., in the Student Campus Center, Iselin Room.

The seminar is approved by the New York State Education Department and designed for licensed professionals, teachers, and school administrators who are required to identify and report child abuse. It will cover the physical and behavioral indicators of child abuse, maltreatment, and statutory reporting requirements.  Upon completion of the two-hour seminar, attendees will receive certification from the State of New York.

The cost is $50 per person; pre-registration is required.  Registration deadlines are one week prior to the seminar date.  For further information or to register, call (914) 654-5548.
