This year’s entries will
be on display October 29 to November 12. The
exhibition will culminate with an Awards Ceremony and
Reception on November 12 at 3:30 pm. The exhibit and reception
are free and open to the public.
This
annual competition was created to offer aspiring young female
artists nationwide the opportunity to showcase their two- and three-dimensional
works. CNR is inviting more than 450 schools
nationwide to participate. Each year, the College receives
more than 100 pieces of art from students around the country.
The annual event is
sponsored by the College’s Office of External Relations,
Media & Photographic Services Department, and the Art
Department of the School of Arts & Sciences (SAS). High
school art teachers are responsible for nominating
participating students. For additional information,
please call (914) 654-5548.
