Associate Director of Admission

The Office of Admission invites applications for the position of Associate Director of Admission.  This full time, professional staff level position is available immediately. The Associate Director will play a leadership role in the Admission Office and will work closely with the Director to analyze trends, set goals, and develop and implement the recruitment plan.  The Associate Director will also be extensively involved in training and supervising the Admission staff.  In addition, s/he will work closely with the operations staff, student workers and volunteers.  The Associate Director will participate in all aspects of the admission operation, including recruitment travel, giving presentations, reviewing applications, interviewing, attending on- and off-campus recruitment events, and representing the Office of Admission in the Director’s absence.

The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of admission experience, demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and polished and professional presentation skills. S/he will be enthusiastic, highly organized and creative. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, the ability to adapt to changing situations, good judgment and a good sense of humor.  A Bachelor’s degree is required; the Master’s is preferred.  Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be in good standing in all states.  Some night and weekend work is required.

The first Catholic college for women in New York State, The College of New Rochelle was founded in 1904 by the Ursuline Order. Today, it comprises the all-women School of Arts & Sciences, and three schools which admit women and men: the School of New Resources (for adult learners), the School of Nursing and the Graduate School.  The main campus of the College is located in lower Westchester County, 16 miles north of New York City.  The College maintains five other campus locations in New York City.
