Visiting Faculty –
Literacy
The College of New Rochelle’s Graduate
School/Division of Education
invites applications for a visiting full-time faculty member to teach 3
courses in Literacy during the second half of the Spring 2008
semester. These courses will be offered at two of our
co-sponsored
sites in Rockland and Sullivan Counties. Qualified individuals
should
have a minimum of a doctoral degree in the field or ABD with relevant
research and presentations.
The Graduate School is one of four schools of the
College and was
founded in 1969 in response to the needs of working adults. We
offer
Master’s degree programs in the areas of Education, Human Services and
Art and Communication Studies, as well as certificates and professional
diplomas in selected professional areas. Classes are offered in
late
afternoons, evenings and on weekends. The College is located on a
beautiful suburban campus 16 miles north of midtown Manhattan and
easily accessible by public transportation. We offer a competitive

The first Catholic
college for women in New York State,
The
College of New Rochelle was founded in 1904 by the Ursuline Order.
Today,
it comprises the all-women School of Arts & Sciences, and three
schools
which admit women and men: the School of New Resources (for adult
learners),
the School of Nursing and the Graduate School. The main campus of
the College is located in lower Westchester County, 16 miles north of
New York City. The College maintains five other campus locations
in New York
City.
