Adjunct Faculty
The Graduate School seeks adjunct faculty to
teach courses in our Division of Education. Positions are
available for Spring, Summer, and Fall terms. The Graduate School
schedules classes for late afternoon, early evening, and
weekends. We are particularly interested in faculty with
expertise in the following areas: Early Childhood Education,
Childhood Education, Special Education, Literacy,
Multilingual/Multicultural Education, Creative Teaching and Learning,
and Educational Leadership.
Qualified individuals who possess a Doctoral
degree in their field are preferred. In some instances, individuals
with a Master’s degree and evidence of research, scholarly
publications, and professional presentations will be considered.
The Graduate School is one of four schools of the
College and is located on our main campus in New Rochelle, 16 miles
north of midtown Manhattan and easily accessible by public
transportation. The College of New Rochelle is a Catholic college
in the Ursuline tradition and we welcome applicants from all
backgrounds who can contribute to our unique educational mission.

The first Catholic
college for women in New York State,
The
College of New Rochelle was founded in 1904 by the Ursuline Order.
Today,
it comprises the all-women School of Arts & Sciences, and three
schools
which admit women and men: the School of New Resources (for adult
learners),
the School of Nursing and the Graduate School. The main campus of
the College is located in lower Westchester County, 16 miles north of
New York City. The College maintains five other campus locations
in New York
City.
