The College
of New Rochelle invites applications for a professional staff position
as Coordinator of Mathematics Services in the College’s Center for
Academic Excellence. The position is available August 1, 2008.
Requirements for this position include a minimum of a Master’s degree
in Mathematics, Math Education or a closely related area, as well as
experience in teaching introductory college-level mathematics
courses. Responsibilities include work in the Center with
students at all levels, coordination of mathematics tutors, conducting
workshops for students and faculty, and the teaching of introductory
mathematics courses for undergraduate students. Candidates should send

College of New Rochelle was founded in 1904 by the Ursuline Order.
Today,
it comprises the all-women School of Arts & Sciences, and three
schools
which admit women and men: the School of New Resources (for adult
learners),
the School of Nursing and the Graduate School. The main campus of
the College is located in lower Westchester County, 16 miles north of
New York City. The College maintains five other campus locations
in New York
City.
