Assistant Professor, Middle and Secondary Teacher Education


The School of Arts and Sciences invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position available September 1, 2008.  The successful candidate will teach undergraduate foundations and methods courses in middle and secondary education, supervise field placements, advise students, and collaborate with colleagues in the educational community.  Requirements include a doctorate in education, and experience in teacher education, curriculum and instruction, as well as a strong record of undergraduate teaching, including diverse populations.  Expertise in technology and ESL is highly desirable.
