The School of Nursing of The College of New
Rochelle seeks an experienced academic administrator for the position
of Assistant Dean. The School has an outstanding reputation and
we are proud of our student-centered focus, small classes, dynamic
programs and personal attention.
Reporting to the Dean, the responsibilities for
this position include strategic planning; supervision of the
accreditation process; management of assessment and evaluation of
programs; promotion of faculty development; teaching and scholarly
activities; as well as recruitment and hiring of adjunct faculty; class
scheduling; and liaison with clinical agencies.

The College is located on a beautiful suburban campus in Westchester
County, 16 miles north of midtown Manhattan and easily accessible by
public transportation. A Catholic college in the Ursuline
tradition, we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who can
contribute to our unique educational mission.
The successful candidate must have an earned
doctorate in nursing or related field; a proven record of success in
academic administration; must be knowledgeable about state education
and CCNE requirements for accreditation; and must have effective
interpersonal communication skills.

The first Catholic
college for women in New York State,
The
College of New Rochelle was founded in 1904 by the Ursuline Order.
Today,
it comprises the all-women School of Arts & Sciences, and three
schools
which admit women and men: the School of New Resources (for adult
learners),
the School of Nursing and the Graduate School. The main campus of
the College is located in lower Westchester County, 16 miles north of
New York City. The College maintains five other campus locations
in New York
City.
