The School of New
Resources of The College of New Rochelle invites applications for
Instructional Staff. Positions are available in all academic
areas of interest at our six full-service campuses in New Rochelle and
New York City. The School of New Resources offers the
interdisciplinary baccalaureate degree in the liberal arts to adult
learners. Day, evening and weekend classes are offered.
The Instructional Staff
The Instructional
Staff are full-time faculty of the School and teach 6 credit hours per
semester in classroom seminars. The Instructional Staff also
mentor independent studies as needed. They have primary
responsibility for on-going academic advisement in their area of
specialization and share responsibility for the selection, training and
evaluation of adjunct faculty each semester. The Instructional Staff
also review course proposals, use assessment strategies to maintain and
improve campus curricula and instruction, and maintain campus
curricular and instructional records for student, faculty and course
dossiers in their areas of academic responsibility. Our faculty possess
a commitment to teaching in a non-traditional, student-centered liberal
arts curriculum, to experiential and individualized learning models,
and to the delivery of academic advisement and support services.
The School of New Resources
The School of New

Psychology, Communications, and Foreign Languages. In keeping with the
philosophy of the School of New Resources, students and their faculty
advisors prepare individualized degree plans and participate in the
course development process within the context of the School’s
curriculum and degree requirements.
