This year there will be a bounce house and climbing rock as well as an exciting giant slide. There will be face painting, sports challenge, dunk tank, water game challenge, henna tattoos and much more!

Fourth Generation will provide music ranging from “oldies but goodies” to Top 100 pop songs. Vendors displaying jewelry and other craft items will be on hand to satisfy shoppers and browsers alike. Other entertainment will include performances by the College’s Black Ice Step Team, Gospel Choir, as well as its belly dancing class. Refreshments for sale will include chocolate-covered strawberries, strawberry slushies, and strawberry shortcake, as well as hot dogs, hamburgers, cotton candy, popcorn, and snow cones.

The Strawberry Festival, introduced by The College of New Rochelle in 1972, is the single largest event organized entirely by the College’s undergraduates. The concept of the Strawberry Festival originated in the mid-west during the 1890’s as an American festival celebrating the ripening of strawberries, the blooming of lilacs, and the coming of summer.
