"Gods Behaving Badly" Filmed at The Wellness Center
09/16/2011

A scene for the upcoming feature film Gods Behaving Badly
was shot September 13, 2011 at The College of New Rochelle.
Lakewood Brothers Production used CNR’s award winning Wellness Center on
the New Rochelle Campus to shoot a scene involving actor Ebon
Moss-Bachrach. The Center’s swimming pool was the focus of the filming.
This film, an adaptation of the best-selling novel by Marie Phillips,
stars, among others, Christopher Walken, John Turturro, Sharon Stone,
Alicia Silverstone, Edie Falco and Phylicia Rashad. Director and
co-founder of Lakewood Brothers Production, Marc Turtletaub, took time
out from filming to visit with CNR’s new president Judith Huntington. He
founded Lakewood Brothers Production in 2004 with Peter Saraf and the
company's movies include the Academy Award-winning Little Miss Sunshine. This film is his directorial debut.
The crew of Gods Behaving Badly also spent time with undergraduate communication students at the College to discuss movie and film production.
Gods Behaving Badly tells the story of the Greek Gods, alive
and well and living in a brownstone in New York City, as they cross
paths with a young couple. The intersection of the Gods and the mortals
threatens not only the couple’s budding relationship, but the future of
everything else.
