Blue Angel athletic teams collected 239 gifts, donated by members of the College Community, for New Rochelle’s Salvation Army, Providence House, and New Rochelle Day Nursery in December. They delivered some of the gifts to the Salvation Army on December 19, 2011.

The gifts were collected using an Advent Giving Tree, which was adorned with paper ornaments describing a particular gift for a child ages 3 to 10. CNR Community members would take a paper ornament and donate the gift described.

The Advent Giving Trees collection was coordinated by Campus Ministry in conjunction with SAAC, SGA, and the Wellness Center staff.
