Powerful Women Event Draws Hundreds
03/05/2012

Gender disparity in salary, how to be perceived as assertive rather than aggressive, and the ability to have your ideas heard in male-dominated settings were just some of the topics discussed before a crowd of 300 women at the Powerful Women event, held on February 28, 2012 at The College of New Rochelle.
The event, which was co-hosted with Westfair Business Publications, featured several highly successful women as panelists: Cindi Bigelow, CEO of Bigelow Tea; Judith Huntington, President of The College of New Rochelle; Kay Koplovitz, Founder of USA Networks; Dr. Michelle Koury, COO of Crystal Run Healthcare; and Jennifer Tombaugh, President of Tauck. The event was organized by Dee Delbello, publisher of Westfair Business Publications, and moderated by Elizabeth Bracken Thompson, Partner at Thompson & Bender, both of whom are CNR alumnae.
