MediaLibrary#5795The 40th annual Strawberry Festival on May 6, 2012, included music, strawberry-themed foods, vendors, games and attractions, and children’s rides. The College Community lovingly refers to the longstanding event as "StrawFest."

The Strawberry Festival, introduced to CNR in 1972, is the single largest event organized entirely by the College’s undergraduates. The concept of the Strawberry Festival originated in the mid-west during the 1890’s as an American festival celebrating the ripening of strawberries, the blooming of lilacs, and the coming of summer.
