Athletics Director Harold Crocker Leads City Softball Team Against Celebrity All-Stars

New Rochelle native and WFAN talk show host Craig Carton brought his co-host Boomer Esiason and a team of sports celebrities to New Rochelle for a softball game against a squad coached by Harold Crocker, Director of Athletics for The College of New Rochelle. The game was held to celebrate the opening of new fields in Flowers Park.
Joining Carton and former NFL quarterback Esiason on the celebrity
team were Yankees great Bernie Williams, ex-MLB players Roy White and
Ron Blomberg, former Knick Anthony Mason, and retired NBA players Speedy
Claxton and Wally Szczerbiak.
Mayor Noam Bramson, City Manager Chuck Strome, and players with the
New Rochelle adult softball league were among those Crocker coached.
New Rochelle won, 8-7.
