A Liberal Arts Foundation...Wisdom for Life
The College of New Rochelle liberal arts foundation offers students a broad background in communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. These transferable skills are valued by employers in the fast paced and ever changing global market. Employers need generalists whose scope is the "big picture," who can cultivate complex relationships and whose education has prepared them to understand and think critically about people, culture, and society.
A liberal arts foundation offers broad-based skills that provide the flexibility needed as professions evolve over time. Even as occupations may become obsolete, a liberal arts student who has "learned how to learn" will always find a place in the work world.
