Housing Selection at The College of New Rochelle is one of the more important decisions you make as a resident student. The Student Development staff is dedicated to making sure that you have a positive quality of life in the residence halls. Part of that quality has to do with the process of selecting a room for the next academic year.
As a resident student, you may choose the Traditional Housing Program, which provides community style living for returning students in both doubles and singles, or our Living-Learning communities, which offer areas for all class years, nursing students and visual, peforming and communication arts students, as well as single rooms.
Students may also apply for medical housing if they have special needs.
Please note that housing on campus and cafeteria services are only available when class is in session. Students are required to leave the residence halls during Thanksgiving Break, Winter Intersession, Spring Break, Easter Break and at the end of the academic year in May. In May, students are required to move out of their rooms completely until the following academic year when the residence halls reopen during Labor Day Weekend. If you are in need of vacation housing, please speak to your building's supervisor and fill out the
vacation housing application.
