Adult Learning Center
Teach ESL and basic computer skills at the Ursuline Outreach Center at 138 Centre Avenue.
Boys and Girls Club
Mentor children and teens in after school programs.
Join the Faith Community to serve homeless kids full time.
Habitat for Humanity
Help in the construction of modest, well-built homes for people in need.
Hope Soup Kitchen
Serve meals to individuals and families and/or help at the Food Pantry at Hope Community Services in New Rochelle.
New Rochelle Humane Society
Walk dogs, socialize cats, help with fundraising and special events.
Teach ESL, tutor in the after school program, or serve as a conversation partner at this center for parents and children in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx.
Collect and deliver food, clothing, blankets, and personal care items to the homeless on the streets of Manhattan. CNR completes six runs each academic year. Time commitment: 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Volunteer to help women who are homeless and recently released from prison to transition back into society. Houses are located in Brooklyn, Queens, and Westchester.
Songcatchers. Inc. – Reaching for Peace Through Music
Teach an instrument, play an instrument, or sing in the chorus in this unique after school program for children and teens. Volunteers also needed for the summer choir camp or the newly established Kindermusik classes.
Weinberg Nature Center
Join the environmental work at the Center's 10 acre wildlife sanctuary in Scarsdale
YMCA of New Rochelle
Assist with the youth programs offered by the YMCA.
