Master of Science Degree in Education
– Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2) Leading to Initial Certification— 39 credits
– Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2) Leading to Professional Certification— 36 credits

Two options are available for students seeking a Master’s Degree in Education in the Early Childhood Program (Birth-Grade 2):

  • A Master’s Degree leading to initial and professional New York State certification, for students with no prior New York State teaching certification (36 credits plus student teaching, if required)
  • A Master’s Degree leading to professional New York State certification for students who hold initial New York State teaching certification (36 credits)
