admissions requirements — post-Master's certificate
In order to be considered for admission to the Post-Master's Certificate Program, please submit the following materials:
- Completed Application Form and Non-Refundable Application Fee ($30.00)
- Official Transcript from an ACCN or NLN accredited Master's Program in Nursing
- Current Resume
- Essay describing motivation for study and career goals
- Personal interview (distance permitting)
- Current New York State RN Licensure
- Current Malpractice Insurance
- Prerequisites for NP and CNS tracks:
- Clinically focused Master's degree
- Health Assessment course
- Advanced Pathophysiology course (completed within the last ten years) OR Advanced Pathophysiology and Psychoneuro-immunology I and II
