Specialty courses prepare the professional nurse in the fundamentals
of management operations, budgeting and financial accounting, marketing
issues, business communication strategies, management of information and
human resources, and health care ethics, law and policy. A culminating
role practicum offers students the opportunity to implement selected role
functions with an individualized focus to enhance career development in
a management position in nursing and health care.
