with selected clients. Opportunity exists for in-depth study of the self,
personal growth, and evolution of a healing consciousness.
Faculty who teach and mentor students are experts in the field of complementary
health care and maintain clinical practices in which the role of nurse-healer
is used in partnership with traditional health care systems.
Experiential learning of selected complementary modalities, such as imagery, meditation, polarity energy balancing, reflexology, relaxation, sound therapies, and therapeutic touch. Through clinical practica, students care for a selected client cohort to integrate a caring-healing model of advanced practice into a variety of health care environments.
