FIELD TRIPS
The Biology department provides majors with an experiential curriculum by offering many courses which include field trips to locations in the New York metropolitan area.
MARINE BIOLOGY
Students taking Marine Biology have visited the Hall of Ocean Life at the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH); viewed the IMAX film Aliens of the Deep; toured the Coney Island Aquarium; and taken a boat trip at the Norwalk Aquarium in Connecticut.

Visit the Environmental Studies website to view some of the field trips offered in Conservation Biology, Environmental Biology, and Environmental Impacts on Human Health.
CLUB FIELD TRIPS
Many Biology majors who are members of the Science and Math Society (SAMS) and WILDE (CNR’s Environmental Club) also enjoy attending field trips organized by these groups. Recently, members of SAMS visited “Bodies: The Exhibition” at the South Street Seaport, and WILDE members saw the film March of the Penguins.
