Dr. Maryam Hastings

Fordham University

Dr. Hastings received her Ph.D. from the University of Toledo in Topology. She currently teaches mathematics at Fordham University and was the Director and founder of the Marymount Science/Mathematics Workshop for High School Girls. She has authored numerous publications and has made presentations in the areas of topology, mathematics education and women in math and science. She was featured in the book “She Does Math!” published by the Mathematics Association of America..
