Sr. Ann Peterson, OSU
Sr. Ann began teaching at Blessed Sacrament, St. Joseph’s Academy, Middletown, NY, and served as principal at the Ursuline School.
Beginning in 1975, Sr. Ann spent many years in Malone, NY, as coordinator of religious education for the Malone District School, director of Pastoral Outreach, as a licensed clinical social worker for North Star Behavioral Health Services, a therapist in private practice, and as Superior of the Malone Community. In addition she served as a psychiatric social worker and coordinator of the Psychiatric Day Program at White Plains Hospital. Sr. Ann continues her career at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Harrison.
Sr. Ann is a full-time Provincial Councilor and a Trustee of CNR, as well as an advisory board member for Senior Care for Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers. She previously served as board member for Angela House, and as Superior of St. Teresa’s and the Community at North Avenue.
Sr. Ann holds a B.A., English from The College of New Rochelle; an M.A., Education Administration, Villanova University; an M.A., Pastoral Ministry, Fairfield University; and an M.S.W., Social Work, Fordham University.
