The College of New Rochelle Women's
Basketball team:
- a NCAA Division III Independent
- a member of the New York State Women’s
Collegiate Athletic
Conference (NYSWCAA)
- competes locally as a member of the
Hudson Valley Women’s
Athletic Conference (HVWAC)
The “Blue Angels” will head
into the season under head coach Gary Torigian. Gary,
a successful player himself locally at
Iona College, has high school head coaching
experience at New Rochelle High School. Gary
looks to continue building the Basketball
Program as we come home to The Wellness
Center. The Basketball season begins
in mid October and continues through late
February with the Conference tournament. Players
of all experience levels and abilities
are welcome to try out for the team.
