Brother Tyrone A. Davis, C.F.C.
Brother Tyrone Davis is a member of the Congregation of Christian Brothers and presently serves as Executive Director of the Office of Black Ministry for the Catholic Archdiocese of New York. In addition to this position, Brother Davis also serves as Vice Postulator for the Cause of Venerable Pierre Toussaint and director of the Pierre Toussaint Guild and Scholarship program (for college student-leaders from the archdiocese).
Over the years, Brother Tyrone has held teaching and administrative positions in various secondary schools in New York and New Jersey. Prior to being appointed to his present position in 1995 by the late John Cardinal O’Connor, Brother served as an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn (while a religious brother, residing at Rice High School). Brother also serves on the Board of Directors of Cardinal Spellman High School and in a support capacity with various other non-profit organizations and institutions.
