| “[W]ith
justice as its guiding principle, the
College tries to respond to the needs
of society through its educational programs
and service activities and through fostering
the concept of education-for-service.” |
The
College of New Rochelle Mission Statement
Approved by the Board of Trustees,
May 16, 1991 |

Inspired by the life and charism of St.
Angela Merici, the Office of Campus Ministry
at The College of New Rochelle seeks to
serve the college community by providing
opportunities for service, justice and compassion.
We seek to instill in the College community
a deep concern for the rights and dignity
of every person, especially the poor and
most vulnerable.
CNR students participate in the many service
opportunities sponsored by Campus Ministry.
Faculty, staff, and alumnae/i are also invited
to participate in this ministry that allows
individuals to live lives of faith and to
be of service to those most in need. Opportunities
are provided for Community
Service Day, Local
Service, Long-term
Service, Mission
Service Project, and Service
Trips.
