Campus Ministry is firmly committed to
the work of peace and justice in our world.
By the virtue of baptism, Christians are
called to be leaven for a transforming world
- building a just society and living lives
of holiness amidst the challenges of modern
times. This work begins in the actions taken
on our daily journey, is experienced in
direct actions to transform unjust structures
in society, and extends to acts of service
for people in need. Campus Ministry collaborates
with the entire college community to organize
and celebrate our common struggle for peace
through justice.
Reflecting vibrant and challenging Catholic
Social Teaching, the Office of Campus Ministry
is dedicated to providing programming and
experiences that help inform the individual
conscience for making decisions regarding
public policy, distribution of wealth and
resources, and the transformation of society.
Campus Ministry offers programs to raise
consciousness about social justice issues,
particularly in conjunction with the Pax
Christi Chapter at CNR, PEACEBUILDERS:
