Helen Wolf, MS Ed., MA
Director
of Campus Ministry
Helen Wolf joined The College of New Rochelle
on the Campus Ministry team. She comes
to us from the Brooklyn Diocese, where
she taught for fifteen years at both the
grammar and high school levels. As Director
of Campus Ministry, Helen tries to create
an environment that fosters and values
education-for-service, consistent with
the mission of the College and the goals
of Student Services.
Helen completed her Master of Science Degree in Education at Queens College/CUNY,
and a Master in Arts degree in Religion and Religious Education at Fordham University.
She has been accepted as a Ph.D. candidate in Religious Education at Fordham
beginning in the Fall 2007 semester. Her professional writing credits include
a chapter entitled, “Fostering Vibrant Worship
in Catholic Schools”in Vibrant
Worship With Youth published by Saint Mary’s Press in 2000.
This book was written as a manual for the 1997 National Federation for Catholic
Youth Ministry’s publication on liturgy, From Age to Age: The
Challenge of Worship With Adolescents. She authored the feature
article on school liturgies for the October 2001 edition of Celebration.
Additionally, Helen wrote over a dozen prayer services implemented at the Saint
Mary’s Press Workshops for Catholic high school teachers, campus ministers
and administrators held across the country.
