Lynda Magrath, M.A., Director, joined the Counseling & Career Services staff in 1985, and has served as director since 1997. Lynda provides both personal and career counseling, conducts a wide range of programs and class presentations, and serves as adjunct faculty in the Graduate School and in the School of New Resources. Ms. Magrath is an alumna of the School of Arts & Sciences, and holds a master’s degree in Counseling from New York University. Contact Lynda at lmagrath@cnr.edu.

Arcelina Vega, M.S.W., Counselor, joined the staff of Counseling and Career Services in 2007, after receiving her MSW from the Hunter School of Social Work.  Her experience includes counseling and case management at the Employee Development Center and the Burden Center for the Aging in New York City.  Arcelina’s primary responsibilities at CCS are conducting individual personal counseling, workshops and programs on a wide range of topics related to emotional, social, and psychological health.  Ms. Vega is a Certified Social Worker. Diane Spizzirro, M.S., Career Counselor, is a 2002 graduate of the CNR Master’s Program in Career Development, and has served as adjunct faculty and guest presenter in the Graduate School for several years.  Before joining the staff of CCS in 2007, Ms. Spizzirro served as a career counselor and trainer in Success Image, a local career consulting business.  Diane provides career and placement counseling to all students and alumnae/i of CNR’s four schools.  Ms. Spizzirro is a National Certified Counselor and a New York State Mental Health Counselor. Susan Conte, Ph.D., OSU, Clinical Social Worker, has served as a part-time personal counselor for Counseling & Career Services since 2004. Dr. Conte is assistant professor in the Graduate School’s Human Services Division. Contact Susan at sconte@cnr.edu.
