Dr. Teri Kwal Gamble
Dr. Teri Kwal Gamble is the Chair of the Division of Communication and Media. Her research interests include media, interpersonal and public communication, leadership and gender, and sales and sports communication. She is a professional writer of education and training materials.
She and her husband, Michael, have written numerous text and trade books, including The Public Speaking Playbook (SAGE), the best-selling Communication Works, now in its 12th edition (McGraw-Hill), Leading with Communication: A Practical Approach to Leadership (SAGE), The Gender Communication Connection (M.E. Sharpe), Interpersonal Communication: Building Connections Together (SAGE), Public Speaking in the Age of Diversity (Allyn and Bacon), Oral Interpretation: Bringing Literature to Life Through Performance (McGraw-Hill), and Sales Scripts That Sell (Amacom).
Gamble teaches courses in leadership, organizational and strategic communication, gender and sports communication, and media. She is the co-founder of Interact Training Systems, a consulting firm that conducts seminars, workshops, and short courses for educational and business and professional organizations.
