Dr. Linda Bellmare
Dr. Bellmare is assistant dean for partnerships and recruitment and assistant professor in the School of Nursing. She completed her D.N.P. degree at Fairfield University, holds a Post-M.S. certificate as a family nurse practitioner from Albany Medical College, an M.S. in Parent Child Health from the University of Colorado, and B.S.N. from the University of Vermont. As a board-certified family nurse practitioner, she practiced in women’s health and Pediatrics settings for over 35 years.
At CNR, she teaches in the School of Nursing B.S., M.S., and Family Nurse Practitioner programs. Her areas of interest are pediatrics, women’s health, and evidence-based practice. She has conducted quality improvement research in primary care practices with a focus on prevention protocols and improving the detection of hypertension in the pediatric population.
