Dr. Denise Guinn
Denise Guinn was a National Institutes of Health postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University after completing her Ph.D. She worked as a research scientist at Abbott Laboratories for four years before joining the faculty at Regis University in Denver as Clare Boothe Luce Assistant Professor of Chemistry.
After 17 years at Regis, she joined the faculty at The College of New Rochelle, where she teaches Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and General Chemistry. Her area of research is synthetic organic chemistry and has published in the Journal of Organic Chemistry, Journal of the American Chemical Society, and the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry. She is the primary author of the textbook General, Organic, and Biochemistry, published by W.H. Freeman.
