Dr. Lee Warren
Lee Warren’s background is in physical chemistry, with specializations in both computational chemistry and chemical physics. Before coming to The College of New Rochelle, Dr. Warren was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Yeshiva College and worked as a postdoctoral researcher in laboratories at the University of Delaware and the University of Tennessee / Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He has authored or co-authored a number of peer-reviewed research publications in the area of computational chemistry.
Dr. Warren’s current research interests are focused on the development and improvement of computational chemistry algorithms and on exploring new ways of incorporating molecular visualization and computer-enhanced learning in the classroom. Dr. Warren teaches courses in physical chemistry, computational chemistry and molecular modeling, physics, and introductory chemistry for both science majors and nursing students.
