On the most physical level, the positive transformative feminine is perceived as promoting growth and development of the ego/hero (nurturing in a more emotional and psychological sense than the elementary figures) by attracting and delighting. Here sexuality is ego strengthening and life enhancing, as illustrated in the following relief, depicting two nymphs and Venus emerging from the waters.
