The College of New
Rochelle Archives is located in Room 307 of Gill
Library. Founded in 1945, the Archives
is the permanent
repository for the vital records of the College
since its foundation in 1904 through the
present. In addition to written records and a
large photograph collection, there are
audio-visual collections in various formats,
scrapbooks, posters, architectural plans, and
ephemera.
The CNR Archives is
open to qualified researchers by appointment
only and is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.to
4:00pm. Potential users are urged to call in
advance for an appointment (914-654-5349) in
order to allow the Archivist to retrieve desired
information. In-house finding aids and a
photocopier are available. Archives materials do
not circulate and certain collections are
restricted.
