Please see your advisor if you are pursuing internship opportunities and make sure that you read the Internship Packet carefully. Additional information is available in the black 3-ringbinders in Rm 235 (Max's office). The binder called Internship Sites has announcements and information from places that have internships available. The binder called Internship Evaluation has evaluations from students who have completed internships, along with specific information on the content of the internship and location.
Internships must be planned at least one semester in advance of the semester of your internship. You must ask a faculty member to be your mentor (not necessarily your advisor) for the internship.
Check the websites to see which places are of interest to you. You can also do a general Google search for internships in a specific area, or research and contact specific locations you think might be interesting. The internship does not have to limited to this list, but it must be approved by your faculty mentor. The contact names and other info on this list may change without notice.
Download the internship packet if it is available on the website. Then speak to your advisor. You must fill out a Learning Contract in order to Register for the internship.
